The reason why the BlackBerry Messenger was adopted to Android

Android News: A post pictures circulating on the internet shows, seems to Research In Motion (RIM) seriously to throw an exclusive instant messaging services on the BlackBerry to the Android OS.

Nokia also suffered a similar fate with RIM. Where's the Symbian operating system which only owned Nokia quickly eroded after the iPhone and Android smartphones entering the market?
